The Jim and Diane Salmon Children’s Foundation’s objective is to ease the burden and directly influence the lives of families with children who have been affected by a dreadful illness or accident. To provide quick and easy financial assistance while maintaining privacy, dignity, integrity and opportunity, to enhance the daily lives of the families we serve. Help may be in the form of monetary, companionship or relaxation support. Funded solely by donations, we take pride in contributing to other important non-profit organizations. The Salmon Children’s Foundation is dedicated to helping families in Western New York, helping our warriors recuperate and recover, and supporting the research and development required to cure childhood illnesses.
Jim and Diane Salmon have established this foundation to help ease the pain of families with catastrophic illnesses and to try and improve the lives of people who are going through a life changing experience. Jim is the host of the Home Repair shows on WHAM and has a unique and fun way of raising the necessary funds to advance the causes of the foundation. Diane is an animal advocate and has worked as a volunteer with the boy and girl scouts, and with elementary school age children.

We also proudly support and manage the Nicholas Kovaleski Scholarship.
Nicholas was an energetic 14 year old, actively involved in his church, community, and school. He was a swimmer, football & tennis player, and working toward his Eagle Scout.
Nicholas was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and a journey began no child should go through.
The Kovaleski family started a scholarship that is awarded to an Albion Central School graduating senior who has displayed the qualities that Nicholas lived .
“Live with Purpose” was his motto.
